Brian Busselle exhibiting at the South Eeast Artists' Exhibition Bar, Astor Theatre, 3rd December, 2025. Brian paints in oils, acryics and oil pastels and produces landscape images in an inimitable, abstract style. Brian was previously a graphic designer in advertising. He later travelled to France to pursue his passion for painting and later returned to Cornwall and joined the St Ives Society and Artists where he won awards across the south west. He now lives and paints in Deal and is a regular exhibitor in Open Studios.
Nicki Vowls exhibiting at the South Eeast Artists' Exhibition Bar, Astor Theatre, 3rd December, 2025. Nicki is best known for her linocuts and oil paintings featuring local seafaring heroes. depicting ferocious sea conditions and the opposing moods of desolation and hope - always hope .... Nicki is one of SEAS original members and has regularly exhibited in Open Studios. Her work has been exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, the Turner Contemporary Open Show, Linden Hall group shows and the Royal Society of Printmakers at the Bankside Gallery, London.
Malin at her fantastic Bygga Bo Hygge Pop Up at The Green Garage, Station Road, Walmer tonight. A great crowd turned out for Malin's second Bygga Bo homeware collection, exhibitions of paintings, photographs, pottery and other works by local artists and makers. The bar, mulled wine (Nordic gløgg), and cakes were wonderful. What a party and what a cool location!
