Elaine Puddle is an 'Honary Interloper of Deal Wrens. Her husband, was a Bugle Major of the Royal Marines Band Service. Major Puddle conducted most of the research into the Royal Marines Heritage Trail.

Cherry Hughes was a MaWren and worked at the Draft Pay and Records Office of the Royal Marines. She was stationed at RMB Eastney, Portsmouth. Cherry is the widow of Colour Sergeant Bugle Major Mick Hughes.

Sue Rees was not a MaWren but always worked alongside them down 'The Hole' at HMS Warrior. Sue was a radio operator (ROCOMS) and sent signals to Nuclear Submarines.

Caroline West joined the Wrens in July 1976. Having trained as a photographer she had postings to HMS Drake in Portsmouth, the Department of Royal Naval Public Relations in Whitehall and as Flag Officer Medway in Chatham. Caroline passed the interview board for a Commission and attended Britannia Royal Naval College in Dartmouth. In July 1080 she became Third Officer, WRNS. Following training as a Fleet Analyst, Caroline was posted to Whale Island in Portsmouth where she worked during the Falklands War. From 1982 to 1984 she worked for NATO in Naples.  Caroline's final years were spent in Portsmouth Dockyard at CWTA, Captain Weapons Trials and Assessment. She completed her Commission and left the WRNS in July 1988.
